Nominate a researcher for the DDA Awards 2020 to be presented at the DDA Annual Day 8 December 2020

Does one of your fellow junior researchers deserve acknowledgements for her/his diabetes research?
All members of the DDA can nominate candidates for the DDA Awards 2020 (of each 25,000 DKK):
- DDA-Funded Scientist Award: This award is presented to a junior DDA-funded researcher (current or previous) who has shown great potential to be a world‐class researcher within his/her field of expertise. You must hold a PhD degree to be nominated for the award.
- Young Investigator Award: This award is presented to a junior researcher, below the age of 40, who is engaged in diabetes research in Denmark, and who has shown promising research and made an important contribution to the understanding and treatment of diabetes. You must hold a PhD degree to be nominated for the award.
The deadline for nominations is 2 November 2020.

The awards will be presented at the DDA Annual Day on 8 December 2020.
The DDA Annual Day is a celebration of the high quality of diabetes research in Denmark and abroad, and it provides you with the opportunity to create fruitful networks, present your research via two poster sessions and to be selected to do an oral presentation or win a poster award. The theme of this year’s DDA Annual Day is “career and career moves”.
Everybody is welcome to attend and the event is free of charge including access to symposium, breakfast, lunch, coffee, refreshments and buffet dinner.
