PhD Student Job: Helper at DDEA Postdoc Summit 3-8 September

Are you a PhD Student in diabetes, metabolism, or classical endocrinology research at a Danish research institution? Are you looking to expand your national and international network and earn some extra money? If yes, then read on!
The Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy is in need of assistance for this year’s Postdoc Summit, one of the flagship events of the DDEA.
What we need is someone to help with miscellaneous practical tasks during the event.
What we can provide is pay, as well as room and board for the duration of the event.
The Summit is sure to be a memorable experience for you with lots of interesting talks, tasks, and great networking opportunities with other early career and senior researchers.
The tasks will include (but not be limited to):
- Setting up PowerPoint presentations for the speakers
- Helping to pass microphones during talks/panels, Q&A’s, and discussions
- Facilitating “energizers”
- Making sure the meeting room is tidy and welcoming before and after each course day
- Assisting speakers and organisers
- Taking care of various practical tasks to make sure the Postdoc Summit runs as smoothly as possible
The estimated work time per day is 5 hours.
When and where?
The Postdoc Summit takes place 3-8 September at the Green Solution House Hotel on the beautiful island of Bornholm.
