The Johnny Ludvigsson Prize 2021 goes to Prof. Karsten Buschard

The Barndiabetesfond’s (read: the Swedish Children’s Diabetes Association) Johnny Ludvigsson prize on 250,000 Swedish kroner is given to a researcher who has shown “excellent research within the field of children diabetes research in the North”. This year, it was appointed to Professor Karsten Buschard from the Copenhagen University Hospital for his extensive research efforts within type 1 diabetes.
Professor Karsten Buschard often teaches on the Danish Diabetes Academy’s courses and is a well-liked collaboration partner.
