DCAcademy course: Sex Differences in Metabolic and Cardiovascular Disease

Join this three-day PhD-course and increase your knowledge on the role of sex in metabolic and cardiovascular disease. Gain an overview of how sex influences different pathophysiological aspects of cardiovascular and metabolic disease.
The course includes talks from expert researchers, a workshop and poster presentations, as well as different networking activities.

The aims of the course are:
- To provide insight on how sex influences different pathophysiological aspects of cardiovascular and metabolic disease
- To increase awareness and knowledge of the role of sex in metabolic and cardiovascular disease
- To facilitate networking opportunities with fellow peers and international speakers with both basic, clinical and epidemiological research backgrounds
- To provide opportunities for researchers to present their projects
- To evaluate how data science can be relevant in the context of your basic and clinical research project
Who can attend:
PhD student, postdoctoral fellows and PIs (you can join if you are interested in this field - you do not need to perform research on sex differences)
