Danica Pension – research travel grants

The grants are intended young medical doctors (preferably PhD students) who are planning to spend about 3 months at a foreign laboratory or in a clinical department with a view to learn a specific research method or to perform a limited task.
The grants only cover travel and accommodation expenses.
The grants do not cover expenses relating to participation in national or international conferences and courses.
Who can apply: Young medical doctors, preferably PhD students, and Post Docs doing research within health and medical sciences living in Denmark and enrolled in a Danish university or employed at a Danish hospital.
How to apply: Applications must be sent by e-mail in one pdf.-file to kristine.michailidis@rsyd.dk
The application must include:
- A motivation letter of max. 3 A4 pages including:
- Aim of the journey
- Short research project description
- Travel plan (incl. arrival and departure date)
- Budget (incl. information about other financial support)
- PhD students are required to state the name of affiliated university and whether financial support has been granted by the faculty
Applications written in Danish or English are accepted.
