BEAt-DKD Symposium
The Biomarker Enterprise to Attack Diabetic Kidney Disease (BEAt-DKD) consortium invites you to the BEAt-DKD Symposium: “Successful stories, lessons learned and what's next?” on 21 June in Malmö.
BEAt-DKD is as public-private partnership under the auspices of Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI), which has worked for the past seven years to improve patient stratification, to identify targetable mechanisms and pathways underlying DKD and to identify and validate biomarkers of disease progression and treatment responses. The overall aim of the project has been to advance the field towards precision medicine in the management of DKD.
The work to be presented at the symposium is the result of the collaborative effort of 33 partners from academia, industry and one patient organisation; with funding support from the European Commission, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations, and the JDRF.
