DDA Training Day 2019 - Prevention of Beta Cell Dysfunction in Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and complications in Diabetes.

The purpose of the DDA Training Day is to bring together junior researchers from across the globe and to foster greater cross-institutional research in the field of diabetes.
The aim of the DDA Training Day is to establish a network between fellow junior researchers from the University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Banting and Best Diabetes Centre (BBDC), and Joslin Diabetes Center (Joslin) and prominent international PI’s and to get fruitful feedback on own research.
With the intention of continuing the collaboration with these three oldest diabetes centers in the world, Danish Diabetes Academy invites 10 trainees from Denmark (or from institutions in neighbouring countries collaborating with Danish Diabetes Academy), 10 trainees from USA and 10 trainees from Canada to attend the DDA Training Day.
The DDA Training Day will take place prior to the Joslin International Symposium: Bioenergetics and its Dysregulation in Diabetes.
The topic of the DDA Training Day is: Prevention of Beta Cell Dysfunction in Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and complications in Diabetes.
