DDA Awards
At the DDA Annual Day (30 November-1 December 2022), DDA will award three diabetes prizes to:
- recognize, excellence, innovation, passion and commitment in Danish diabetes research and
- acknowledge outstanding achievement, success and engagement in diabetes research education and training of early-career researchers and in supporting networking among early-career researchers.
DDA-Funded Scientist Award
This award is presented to an early-career DDA-funded researcher (current or previous) who has shown great potential to be a world‐class researcher within his/her field of expertise.
Young Investigator Award
This award is presented to an early-career researcher, below the age of 40, who is engaged in diabetes research in Denmark, and who has shown promising research and made an important contribution to the understanding and treatment of diabetes.
DDA Research Education and Networking Award - NEW
This award is presented to a national or international researcher (at any point of her/his career) who, on multiple occasions, has contributed to improvements of the DDA activities within education, talent development, networking and/or collaboration.
