12.10.21

The DDA is very happy to announce that Louise S. Dalbøge, Research Project Leader at Gubra, enters the DDA Committee for Education 1 October 2021 – 31 December 2022.

- I am very happy to be joining the Danish Diabetes Academy's Committee for Education. It allows me to join an outstanding research community and engage with young talented researchers within the field of diabetes. I hope that I can contribute with strengthening the collaboration between academia, hospitals and the life-science industry in Denmark. I am looking forward to working with the rest of the committee to further enhance the quality of Danish diabetes research education, says Louise S. Dalbøge.

Louise Dalbøge is, in her own words, a science-driven project leader with a passion for drug discovery. She holds a MSc in pharmacy and has obtained a PhD degree within Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from the University of Copenhagen. Gubra is a privately-held biotech company with a focus on the metabolic space.

LOUISE S. DALBØGE A SCOOP FOR THE DDA
- Building a closer collaboration with the life science industry is one of the DDA's focus areas. Therefore, the DDA strives to include scientific presentations from the life science industry at the PhD and postdoc courses and also strives to highlight career opportunities in the life science industry to junior researchers. It is a scoop for the DDA that Louise S. Dalbøge - who actually in her early career attended the DDA summer School – will give us her input on how we can achieve our aim, says Tore Christiansen, Managing Director of the DDA.
