Prestigious EASD Claude Bernard award goes to Juleen R. Zierath

European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) has announced the recipients of the 2021 EASD awards.

Juleen R. Zierath, Professor and Executive Director (Novo Nordic Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen), has been awarded the Claude Bernard award. The Claude Bernard award is EASD's highest award in recognition of an individual's innovative leadership and lifetime achievements in diabetes research. DDA congratulates Juleen on receiving the award.
