29.09.20

Attention all junior researchers at national and international research institutions!

Have you ever wondered…..

How is it actually to work in life sciences industry? How does a normal workday look like, how is the culture and the work-life balance in the individual companies?

These and many more questions will be answered in a series of webinars organised in collaboration between the DDA and at least six national and international large and small life sciences companies, which are all involved in diabetes research – from basal research to clinical trials phases 1-4.

The webinars will take place from 4 to 12 November 2020, all starting from 12h00 until 13h30. A new company each day, so you can choose between the companies you find most interesting or listen to them all.

During the webinars, you will meet two employees from each company with a background from academia working with different roles in life sciences industry. They will give a short introduction to their company and their values and explain how PhD students and postdocs fit in the company. Focus will, however, be on the personal story, how they got to work in the life sciences industry, which competencies from academia they use in their role and why they find it great to work in life sciences industry.  They will of course also do their best to answer all of your questions.

The webinars are open for registration.
