The DDA Annual Report for 2019

The Danish Diabetes Academy (DDA), which has a mission of educating, training and creating network opportunities for the next generation of diabetes researchers, has had a successful 2019.
In the DDA Annual Report for 2019, we explore the work that has shaped our year. This work was made possible through the collaboration with universities, hospitals and the life-sciences industry both nationally and internationally.
This last year the DDA has:
- Hosted 12 educational events
- Hosted 12 networking events
- Allocated 34 grants for PhD, postdoctorials and visiting professors
- Created the DDA Alumni Network
There is a great interest in the DDA educational and networking activities, and during 2019 over 1,000 national and international scientist and speakers have participated.
