The Danish Diabetes Academy (DDA) to support PhD projects and postdoc projects with at least 1/3 industry co-funding

The Danish Diabetes Academy (DDA) will allocate a number of co-funding PhD scholarships and postdoc fellowships in 2020 for projects within diabetes where at least 1/3 of the remaining 2/3 funding must be covered by life sciences industry.
The DDA will call for applications for the following grants:
- Five 1/3-financed postdoc fellowships of each 600,000 (covering salary)
- Two 1/3 financed PhD scholarships of each 550,000 DKK (covering salary and tuition fee)
The grants can be applied for by individual PhD and postdoc candidates. Of the remaining 2/3 funding, at least 1/3 must be covered by a private company (funding must be secured within six months after receiving the grant notification letter). The other 1/3 remaining funding can be covered by e.g. hospitals, universities, the Danish regions or private foundations. The DDA does not cover already ongoing projects.
