Research grants from the Danish Diabetes Association 2019
Three research grants for younger scientists within the field of diabetes
The Danish Diabetes Association supports younger scientists at the Post Doc level conducting research within medicine, life sciences, social sciences or human sciences in relation to people with diabetes or prevention of diabetes.
Candidates for the research grants must have obtained the PhD degree within the last four years. excl. maternity leave.
The Danish Diabetes Association wishes through these grants to support specific and temporary research activities and therefore does not support permanent activities.
In 2019 the Danish Diabetes Association allocates grants of DKK 225.000 to each of three candidates.

Application deadline: Wednesday, August 7th, 2019 at noon.
In the first round, a number of candidates are selected based on the written applications. These go on to the 2nd round with oral presentation of the project in front of a user panel with subsequent discussion. The 2nd round will take place in Glostrup on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 03.30 pm. Final answer can be expected on September 27th, 2019.
The Danish Diabetes Association expects to hand over the research grants at a ceremony in Copenhagen November 7th, 2019 from 05:30 pm.
