Title: Vitamins A and D during gestation and offspring metabolic health.

Description: The overall aims of this PhD thesis were to investigate associations between prenatal exposure to vitamins A and D and metabolic health later in life. The main hypothesis was that exposure to lower levels of vitamins A and D during gestation induces metabolic alterations in the offspring that are associated with an increased risk of metabolic diseases. Furthermore, we wanted to identify determinants of vitamin D concentrations in newborns.
