Available Postdoctoral Position at the Spanish National Centre for Cardiovascular Research

Dr. Mercedes Ricote (Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares, CNIC, Madrid, Spain) is looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated candidates to join a project that involves mouse models of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. A combination of biochemical, cellular and in vivomodel systems will be used, including tissue-specific knockoutmice, genome-wide analysis, and bioinformatic approaches.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must possess a PhD in Biomedical Sciences
• An outstanding publication record in peer review journals
• Good English communications skills
• Experience working with mouse models of diabetes and obesity
• Additional experience in molecular biology, genomics and/ or bioinformatics will be highly valued
• Creativity, independence and a willingness to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team are essential
