Big Data Conference in Aarhus

On March 14, 2017, WelfareTech and the Alexandra Institute, under the auspices of the WelfareTech Innovation Network for Health and Welfare Technology, Danish Diabetes Academy and Center for Collaborative Health at Aarhus University, are hosting a conference on bringing research data into play.
BIG DATA WITHIN HEALTHCARE
Does your company work with big data within healthcare? Or do you work within epidemiology and have interest in collaborating with companies about their commercial projects? Then this conference might be of interest to you, as you get a chance to meet a variety of researchers working with big epidemiological datasets concerning the major national and international prevalent diseases (among these diabetes).
Among others you get to meet:
- Daniel Witte, Professor, Institute of Public Health, Aarhus University
- Tyre Grove Krause, Consultant, PhD, Head of Department, Statens Serum Institut (SSI)
- Carsten Obel, Manager, Center for Collaborative Health
OPEN EPIDEMIOLOGICAL DATASETS
The epidemiological datasets are in principal open, but there is a need for collaboration between researchers and companies, if private companies on a larger scale are to be able to use the datasets to developing solutions within the welfare technological area.
