Tina Vilsbøll is appointed Clinical Manager at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen

Danish Diabetetes Academy Research Committee member and current Head of Center for Diabetes Research at Gentofte Hospital Professor Tina Vilsbøll is, as of 1 April 2017, appointed Clinical Manager at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen (SDCC).
THE NEW DIABETES CENTER IS WELCOMING AN EXPERIENCED AND COMPETENT RESEARCHER, PROFESSOR AND DIABETES DOCTOR
It was a unanimous appointment committee that pointed at 48-year old Professor Tina Vilsbøll as their future Clinical Manager. Tina Vilsbøll is an experienced and competent diabetes researcher, who has gained national and international recognition for her work on developing new diabetes medicine for treatment of type 2 diabetes.
GREAT AMBITIONS FOR SDCC
Along with many other in the Capital Region of Denmark, Tina Vilsbøll has contributed to drawing up the vision of SDCC and will, together with Head Nurse Kirsten Engelhard Nielsen, be responsible for developing SDCC's great ambitions in the clinical area.
"As Clinical Manager for SDCC, one of my first objectives are to contribute to the establishment of an improved collaboration between the many promising diabetes environments in the region and to work on creating even better conditions than today for improving the quality of the entire region's diabetes treatment", says Tina Vilsbøll in a press release.
As Clinical Manager, Tina Vilsbøll will be co-operating closely together with Professor Allan Flyvbjerg, who was appointed Head of SDCC in 2016.
